Omo Valley: Revisited

I created a book, Omo Valley: Vanishing Tribes, from photos that I took in 2013 in Ethiopia. In 2019, I started doing multimedia pieces, using the photos on top of painted backgrounds. Many of the pieces were centered around the Daasanach tribal women who made decorative gourds and pots to carry their daily water from the Omo River. See my post on my Omo Valley: Revisted show for more photos and paintings:

I also did paintings of members of the Mursi and Hamer tribes.
